Take your next step to success with our DISC Behavioural Preferences profile and report!

Take and explore the DISC Behavioural Preferences self-discovery profiling questionnaire to find out more about your personality and behavioural traits in order to build better relationships with others.

Why is this important?

The DISC behavioural system is a popular personality profiling tool used worldwide which describes your behavioural traits in the ways that you think, feel, and act. These traits will affect your relationships with others since we often communicate based upon our own motivations and needs. Usually, a person is strong in certain behavioural styles. However, any strength which is overused will become a limitation. To be effective in our work and relationships, we cannot just rely upon any one style alone, but we need to use different behavioural styles according to the situational needs. Understanding the DISC will help you adapt better to different people, tasks and situations.

Understand your DISC Behavioural Preferences

The DISC behavioural system is developed based upon the theories of William Marston who first described the four categories of behavioural traits in 1931. Marston first labelled these four traits as Dominance (D), Inducement (I), Submission (S), and Compliance (C).

  • Dominance: This relates to your drive, control, power and assertiveness.
  • Inducement: This relates to your influence in social situations and communication.
  • Submission: This relates to your steadiness, patience, persistence and thoughtfulness.
  • Compliance: This relates to your caution, conscientiousness to structure and organisation.

To be effective in our everyday relationships and work, we need to understand different DISC styles and use them according to the people, task and situational needs.
